Bag Pack at Supervalu Kilkenny Sept '16

Yet again, Supervalu Loughboy has come through for us and gave us a weekend bag packing slot to raise much needed funds for the club. MASSIVE thanks to Supervalu, all the customers who gave so generously and to all those who gave up some time to help out. Thanks to our own Theresa Walsh (Basketball Ireland President) who took time out of her busy schedule to roll up her sleeves and help with the fund raising. Registration and trying fees alone do not cover the costs of running this club and putting teams on the court. Without additional fundraising we simply could not continue to provide a basketball club for the kids. Please, please, please do your best to support the club in all fundraising activities throughout the season. Thanks.  

Belgium Trip May 2016

The club wishes to thank, most sincerely, the following businesses that so generously supported our trip to Belgium. It was The Stars first ever foreign trip and was a massive success. The trip has helped to improve our level of basketball and strengthen relationships between everyone involved with the club from coaches to parents and players alike, not to mention all the new friends we made in Belgium.
